Dee Roberts, PhD has been practicing meditation since 1995, long enough to know there's no one right way to do it, and just enough to still be surprised. Her path began as a kind of DIY Dharma, drawing from Tibetan, Zen, and Insight traditions, and continues to evolve alongside the changing circumstances of life.
A graduate of Insight Meditation Center's Dharma Leader Training program, Dee teaches at meditation communities throughout the West. She also serves as an Online Retreat Director for Insight Retreat Center and a board member of the British Columbia Insight Meditation Society. Previously a Professor of Nursing and Public Health, Dee brings a lifetime of experience supporting others to her teaching.
Her teaching is rooted in a sincere wish to help others find greater ease and freedom in their lives. Along the way, she's learned as much from formal teachers as from cedar trees, Beat poets, and one very opinionated, snaggle-toothed rescue dog.
Dee offers her Dharma teachings freely, in the spirit of generosity. If you would like to support her teaching, donations are warmly appreciated.
